- Seeking Manager - Appraisal Review

| This position manages the appraisal review personnel and provides an
effective independent appraisal ordering and review support system for the
credit and lending departments. This position selects appraisers and orders
appraisals, reviews and approves the appraisals and properly completes the
appraisal review checklists. Additionally this position completes the
Evaluations of Real Estate when an external appraisal is not required by
Policy or Law.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or business related field
required.
· 4+ years of credit analyst experience including at least two years of
appraisal review required.
· At least one year of commercial lending experience preferred.
· Certified General Real Property Appraiser designation required.
This position has the flexibility to be located at almost any of our 16
offices in the Twin Cities.

THE POSITION
A Commercial Appraiser is actively involved in the mass appraisal revaluation process of commercial, industrial and apartment properties and completes appraisals for abatements, Board of Appeals and Minnesota State Tax Court. Appraisers must have their own vehicle for work use and will be expected to view properties throughout Hennepin County.
Persons in the Commercial Appraiser position must possess the Certified Minnesota Assessor (CMA) or obtain this certification from the State Board of Assessors within 12 months of employment as well as be income qualified via the State Board within 12 months of employment. In lieu of the CMA, candidates must possess a Certified General Appraisal license from the Department of Commerce and may have other appraisal affiliation certificates and designations. Due to potential conflicts of interest other real estate work outside of the position is not permitted.
